The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is actually alarmed with regard to the superior number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme website [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The services level produced for intervention encounters a large influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to enable the servicing of all customers and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
